Updates for Blossom Jam and art book
While I originally made the game for the O2A2 jam (and remained within its limitations), it also fit very well into Blossom Jam thematically, so I took the opportunity to polish a few things that I wasn't able to do before the O2A2 deadline before submitting to Blossom Jam. Among them is a small UI fix for the web version that I caught too late and some background polish that I didn't have enough time for. The changes aren't too major, but both versions are available for download if you are curious and want to compare. The play-in-browser version is the updated one.
The organisers of the O2A2 jam encouraged people to enable tips or submit their games to paid bundle. I thought making a behind-the-scenes art book available for a $3 donation would be a nice way of implementing that, so if you enjoyed the game and want to look at my art and development process, I'd be grateful for your support. The book contains progress shots of the various art I did for the game and a day-by-day breakdown of the jam.
Lastly, thanks a lot to everyone who gave this little visual novel a chance! And also thank you to everyone who has left a comment or given feedback in some other form! Blessing of the Flower Goddess has reached over 200 combined browser plays and downloads, which I don't know if that's considered a lot, but around 200 people having played my game is pretty exciting.
